Dale Friedrichs

Dale Friedrichs is executive vice president, Operational Excellence and HSE for LyondellBasell, one of the world’s largest plastics, chemicals and refining companies. In this role, Friedrichs has responsibility for the Centers of Excellence of all manufacturing-support functions, including HSE, Engineering, Manufacturing Operational Excellence, Maintenance, Reliability and Turnarounds, as well as the successful execution of major capital projects globally.

Prior to this appointment, Friedrichs served as senior vice president, Human Resources and Global Projects for LyondellBasell. His career spans more than 30 years, and he has held numerous leadership positions in global HSE and manufacturing, including vice president of Global HSE and site manager for six LyondellBasell manufacturing locations along the Gulf Coast.

Friedrichs is a graduate of Texas A&M University with Bachelor of Science degrees in ocean engineering and civil engineering.
